Most of Duel Monsters is founded upon Occult Lore and Concepts. A combination of Trading Cards, Role Playing Games, and Occult Knowledge.

And knowing about the occult helps it...? Hmm...

For card design, the history of the game, and the like. And possibly understand Duel Spirits.

... Maybe I will take it.
